Just passed the due date

Yesterday was the projected due date.

It's only been 19 days, but I'm already losing my memories of days without changing diapers, feedings throughout the night, sleeping, and a host of ways to worry if everything is really going OK. But trading in those conditions in exchange for those beautiful little eyes looking up at me in reverence is an amazing bargain.

And yes, I know those little eyes really can't focus on me and she probably couldn't distinguish me from the cat, but I'm tired so give me that alternate reality. ;-)
