Pet the pretty shark

So, while feeding the baby I watched a show on sharks on PBS. I always figured that when sharks saw people in the water they think something like "so, you've been evolving these past 150 million years. isn't that cute. but you're still made of food." Well these guys wanted to show how much they've learned about shark behavior with quite a demonstration. While free diving, they're armed with nothing but a stick and their wits. Then they pet a 15-foot great white shark. Then "ride" it. And this isn't a mountain dew commercial.

Oh yea, from a platform on the boat where they could easily be grabbed by the shark, they grab its snout so it'll open its jaws up. Guess they know what they're doing, but as a child of the 70's where one of my first scary movies was Jaws, this is not something I recommend...
